53 days and counting

We finally finished our Basic Keelboat and Basic Coastal Cruising certifications (on a 32' Catalina out of San Diego). Since this was the first time I had ever been on a sailboat, I made sure to really pay attention. The biggest (and most pleasant) surprise was the quietness when the auxiliary engine was turned off and the sails filled!
We continue to refine our "packing lists" and we're really starting to get excited!

We're really excited for Belle to travel to MN to aid in our pheasant hunting but to tell you the truth... we'd rather see Belle in a kennel in southern AZ and us joining you on the boat! OH! I guess we just have to stay behind and mind the "ship".
Have a blast!
