Zen and the Art of Motor Repairs

The dinghy motor was kaput yesterday. We had to row about 500 yards to shore for our appointment with the Bears. Since we only apparently have ONE OAR - Jim did the rowing.
Add to the list: Get second Oar
At the end of the day, a local fisherman towed us back to Antipodes. See photos of being towed. Once we got to Ketchikan, we called the local Honda repair office. They sent "Kevin" over. He (in the orange shirtsleeves - its summer here) and Jim (sweatshirt - this is winter weather in AZ) rebuilt something and it works.
We ran out of propane last week in Tank 1. Jim took the dinghy over to the fuel dock to get a refill on it. There are two tanks.

So the Honda motor gremlin struck again huh? Well, at least you didn't have to frantically paddle away from sea lions after the motor quit during a "drive by" camera shooting... :)
